Course Description:

The IIVS Wound Academy offers a comprehensive course in wound management tailored for healthcare professionals involved in wound management.   Wound care is an essential component of healthcare services, with many patients requiring comprehensive management to optimize healing and prevent complications. In response to this need, IIVS proposes the establishment of the IIVS Wound Academy. This course covers essential topics such as wound assessment, debridement techniques, dressing selection, and advanced wound care modalities. Participants will gain practical skills through hands-on workshops, seminars, and clinical preceptorship programs. By promoting evidence-based practices and fostering collaboration, this course aims to enhance patient outcomes and improve quality of care in wound management.

Teaching Method:

Teaching methods include readings, interactive sessions, practical hands on training, self-assessment questions and final exit exam.

Duration of Course:

Maximum 6 months from the enrolment.

Course Fee:

25000 per candidate.

Target Audience

The target audience for the IIVS Wound Academy includes vascular surgeons, general surgeons, wound care nurses, podiatrists, vascular technologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with vascular-related wounds. We also include patient education family counselling modules.
